Vancouver Wood Arts Society was formed to promote the joy, art and craft of fine woodworking, both locally and internationally. The society is a non-profit organization with a growing membership of men and women who demonstrate a breadth of interest and skill, ranging from fine furniture, musical instruments, turnings, cabinetry, trim and finish carpentry, to decorative art. The Society, through forums such as semi-annual exhibitions and shows, demonstrates that fine woodworking is a thriving, proudly practiced and valued craft.
